Nickes' Alliance

Nickes' Alliance was composed of 63 Greed Island players hired by Battera. They consisted of ten founding members and 53 other members. The alliance's strategy was to monopolize about 1,900 offensive and defensive spell cards in order to prevent other players from defending against their attacks, while they were able to take the cards they needed from their specified slots.

Founders

Nickes 
Nickes was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera. He was an intelligent individual, having extensive knowledge on Greed Island's game mechanics. He acted on pacifistic morals, with nearly all of the members of his alliance stealing cards not by force, but with in-game spell cards.

Assam 
Assam was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game. Like his fellow alliance members, he had an informative personality with extensive knowledge on the game.

Isaac 
Isaac was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game. Like his fellow alliance members, he had an informative personality with extensive knowledge on the game.

Jispa 
Jispa was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game. He was responsible for taking new members of the alliance to Kosofftro with a "Magnetic Force" card. He was also an industrious member of the alliance and was known for his expert knowledge on the game's card system.

Nomdieu 
Nomdieu was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game. Like his fellow alliance members, he had an informative personality with extensive knowledge on the game.

Kosofftro 
Kosofftro was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game. Kind and cordial, he informs the new alliance members that they need to remember his name if they want to return to the group's hideout.

Genthru 
Genthru is the former leader of the Bomber group, whose members included Sub and Bara. He was among the players trying to clear the Greed Island game. He was also known as the Bomber among Greed Island players.
  • Little Flower (Unknown): Genthru gives his aura explosive properties, creating small yet deadly detonations in his palms. He employs this ability by grabbing hold of an opponent and triggering the explosion.
  • Countdown (Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation): Genthru can attach a bomb to a victim by following two conditions: he must touch the target while saying the word "Bomber" and explain both of his abilities in full. The bomb is then conjured and its countdown timer starts at 6000. When it reaches 0, the target explodes from the inside, with the blast being ten times more powerful than that of Little Flower. In order to nullify this ability, the victim needs to touch Genthru and say, "I caught the Bomber". Genthru can detonate the bombs at any time when touching thumbs together with Sub and Bara, with all three saying the word "Release".

Members

Puhat 
Puhat was a Greed Island player hired by Battera at the same time as Gon and Killua. His mannerism together with his other physical characteristics may give off general impressions to observers that he was both laid-back and self-assured. He was quick to use conjecture based on the limited information that he would observe and always asked the right questions at the right times.

Abengane 
Abengane is a Nen Exorcist and a former player of the game Greed Island, hired by Battera at the same time as Gon and Killua. He is extremely perceptive. He was able to figure out the general principles of the tactics used by Nickes' group mere minutes after stepping into Greed Island. He is also skilled at Conjuration. His ability allows him to remove the effects of Nen from himself or others, thus qualifying as an Exorcist.
  • Exorcism (Conjuration): Abengane's ability requires him to first burn a campfire. He takes a wooden effigy and chants a prayer to forest spirits. The campfire rages, amassing the aura of the flora and fauna of the forest alongside Abengane's own to conjure a Nen beast. The Nen beast is able to exorcise Nen curses by devouring them, though it will linger until the originator of the ability has died or Abengane satisfies the conditions to disarm the curse.

Shihael
Shihael was a Greed Island player. Since most of the alliance members joined because they lacked combat abilities, it can be assumed that Shihael also had none.

Cuzco
Cuzco is a Greed Island player, one of the last known players to join Nickes' Alliance, and the only known alliance member to survive aside from Abengane. He is capable enough to have passed the notoriously difficult Hunter Exam and has access to all the privileges granted by his status as a Hunter.

Redwood
Redwood was a Greed Island player and a Hunter. He is capable enough to have passed the notoriously difficult Hunter Exam. However, since most of the alliance members joined because they lacked combat abilities, it can be assumed that Redwood also had none.

Mikli
Mikli was a player of the Greed Island game. Not much is known about Mikli's personality, but like the other alliance members, she was disconcerted after Genthru activated the bombs on them. She noticed that the numbers on the bombs were dropping at different rates.

Pisac
Pisac was a Greed Island player. Since most of the alliance members joined because they lacked combat abilities, it can be assumed that Pisac also had none. Due to being able to access Greed Island, Pisac was capable of utilizing Nen.

Kazsule's Alliance

Kazsule's Alliance was originally composed of 15 Greed Island players and formed to stop the Bombers from completing the game. Kazsule formed the alliance by getting in contact with several Greed Island players whom he had met before and who had collected at least 50 specified slot cards, so they could exchange information and stop the Bombers from completing the game.

Members

Amana 
Amanah was a player of the game Greed Island. She was also a member of Team Asta and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. She was quiet as well as observant, and quick at deducing conditions to acquire certain cards within the game.

Asta 
Asta was a knowledgeable leader of team of players consisting of Manheim and Amana on Greed Island and was a member of Kazsule's Alliance. She was short-tempered and prideful, causing her to clash almost immediately with Killua who didn't take kindly to her down talking. Asta's team had 2 other members, Amana and Manheim. They were fairly advanced in the game, as they collected 71 Specified Slot cards by the time they decided to cooperate with Gon and Killua.

Biscuit Krueger 
Biscuit is a Double-Star Stone Hunter who was hired by Battera to clear the video game Greed Island following the auction for the game in Yorknew City. She prefers to be called "Bisky". She is an incredibly skilled and powerful fighter. Through gruesome training, she was able to reach the peak of her physical potential. Her strength is also vastly superhuman. Even without reverting to her original appearance.
  • Magical Esthetician (Manipulation and Transmutation): Biscuit summons a masseuse she calls Cookie which uses different massaging techniques and a Nen-transmuted lotion to relieve fatigue and restore vitality to anyone it massages. It can also burn off excess fat and cure arthritis, muscle tension and locked joints.
  • Piano Massage (Manipulation and Transmutation): With this massage, 30 minutes of sleep will be equivalent to eight hours. It not only relieves physical and mental fatigue, but it also accelerates the restoration of the aura of the person receiving the massage.
  • Body Transformation (Unknown): Biscuit is capable of changing her appearance to look younger and far less muscular, which comes at the cost of severely reducing her physical abilities. It allows her to conceal her true power and thus retain a trump card in battle.

Goreinu 
Goreinu is a Hunter who was hired by Battera to complete Greed Island. He proved to be a skilled Greed Island player, keeping tabs on multiple opponents and obtaining more than 50 cards while playing on his own. He also repeatedly demonstrated to be capable negotiator.
  • White Goreinu (Manipulation): With this ability, Goreinu emits a white gorilla-like creature made out of aura which he controls telepathically. Goreinu can switch places with it at any given time, which makes it an extremely useful ability for evading enemy attacks.
  • Black Goreinu (Manipulation): With this ability, Goreinu emits a black gorilla-like creature made out of aura which he controls telepathically. It has the unique property of being capable of switching places with a target of Goreinu's choosing, allowing him to launch a surprise attack independently from the enemy's position and level of guard.

Hanse 
Hanse was a Greed Island player and the leader of Team Hanse, which included two other members, Zeho and Wong Li. He was also a member of Kazsule's Alliance. Not much is known about Hanse's personality, but he becomes anxious when he realizes that he has a bomb attached to him after learning about the bomb placement conditions and becomes upset when weapons are allowed in the boxing match.

Kazsule 
Kazsule was a player of the game Greed Island. In addition to being the leader of a team that consisted of Souheil and Nick Cue, he was the leader of his own alliance with twelve other Greed Island players. He was very knowledgeable about the game and was shown to be capable of leading a team.

Manheim 
Mannheim was a player of the game Greed Island. He was also a member of Team Asta and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. Manheim displayed a laid-back attitude, in stark contrast to Asta's hot-tempered personality.

Nick Cue 
Nick was a player of the Greed Island game, as well as a member of Team Kazsule and his alliance. Not much is known about Nick Cue's personality, but he had some knowledge of how most spell cards in Greed Island worked.

Montreux 
Montreux as a player of the Greed Island game. He was the other member of Team Yabibi and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. He was a self-confident individual, declaring himself superior to the pirate boxer before the latter showed his abilities.
Projectile Punches (Emission): Montreux can fire aura bullets around the size of his fist from his hands by making a punching motion. They can be shot in quick succession and are so fast that Montreux believed they could be dodged only by knowing about them in advance.

Souheil 
Souheil was a player of the Greed Island game, as well as a member of Team Kazsule and his alliance. Not much is known about Souheil's personality, but he did speak in favor of Gon's team being allowed to join the alliance meeting when Asta scorned them for having no use.

Wong Li
Wong Li was a Greed Island player, a member of Team Hanse with Zeho, and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. Not much is known about Wong Li's personality, but he becomes anxious when he realizes that his leader Hanse has a bomb attached to him and becomes upset when weapons are allowed in the boxing match.

Yabibi 
Yabibi was a player of the Greed Island game, the leader of a two-man team consisting of himself and Montreux, and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. He was a calm, reserved, and rational man who liked to take prudent measures before making risky moves.

Zeho 
Zeho was a Greed Island player, a member of Team Hanse, and a member of Kazsule's Alliance. He was not a scheming individual and generally acted as the brawn for his team. He was confident in his physical strength and the fact that he was an Enhancer, volunteering to answer Bopobo's sumo challenge.

Gon Freecss 
Gon is an athletic, naive, and friendly boy. Having spent a lot of time in the woods as a child, he gets along very well with animals and has superhuman senses such as heightened sense of smell and sight, as well as very keen taste. Raised by Mito, Gon wants to become a Hunter in order to find his father, Ging. During the Hunter Exam Gon befriends Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika and Leorio Paradinight. After successfully becoming a licensed Hunter, Gon and Killua learn about Nen from Wing and later train further under Biscuit Krueger.

Killua Zoldyck 
Killua is initially introduced as a cheeky, cheerful and mischievous kid who befriends Gon during the Hunter Exam. His ruthlessness and aptitude in killing show the other side of him deadly, violent, and bloodthirsty. A member of the famous Zoldyck Family of assassins, Killua has been trained to be an assassin since birth and conditioned to possess extreme tolerance for poison, electricity and pain.
